How It Works

Albendazole 400 mg works by blocking a protein that worms need to absorb glucose. Without glucose, the worm cannot produce energy and starts to die. It also stops the worm from moving by disrupting its internal cell structure. Human cells are not affected the same way. The worms are then passed out of the body naturally.

Dosage and How to Take It

• One Zentel 400 mg tablet per dosage is advised by doctors for dewormning.  Your doctor will set the exact schedule based on your condition.
• Take it with food. Fat in food increases how much albendazole your body absorbs, so this matters. Do not crush or break the tablet unless your doctor advises it. Follow the full course your doctor prescribes.
